Leaflets about swine flu prevention and treatment are being distributed

An Essex man who contracted the first confirmed case of swine flu in the east of England has made a full recovery. The man, from Clacton, has been given the all-clear after taking a course of anti-virals and is now back at work, according to NHS North East Essex. He tested positive for the virus after returning from Mexico. On Wednesday, Castle View School in Canvey Island was closed after a second pupil was confirmed to have contracted the virus. It is to reopen on 18 May. There are three other confirmed cases of swine flu in the county - an elderly woman from Basildon and a man and woman in their 30s from North Weald.
