Composer's memorial seeking home
|

A newly-completed statue of the composer Gustav Holst is now seeking a location in his home town of Cheltenham in Gloucestershire.
The 6ft 5in statue of the composer of the Planets Suite is being paid for by the Civic Society out of funds bequeathed to it by Elizabeth Hammond.
The borough council have agreed to maintain the statue and help locate it.
Possible locations include Pittville Pump Rooms, Montpellier Gardens, Berkeley Gardens and Imperial Gardens.
