Delays are expected as the A34's second set of major repairs begin

Motorists in the South face increasing traffic chaos from Wednesday as a second set of repairs - lasting three months - begin on a major A road.
Works on the A34, between Litchfield and Whitchurch, Hampshire, will take place 10 miles south of existing repairs to the A34/ M4 interchange.
Those improvements, at Chieveley, have held-up drivers for the past year.
The A34 is one of the country's most important routes, carrying up to 60,000 vehicles every day, the AA says.
It connects the South with the Midlands, and is a major route for haulage, business and leisure.
The latest work will involve lane closures to both carriageways.
A spokesperson for the AA said: "This work, while unquestionably essential for the future of the A34, will undoubtedly cause problems - particularly as it will be in place for much of the summer.
"Hundreds of thousands of motorists will use the A34 to head to the South, the West Country and some Channel ports for their holidays."
