People living around Leicestershire's cricket ground are calling on the club to tackle what they are calling parking "mayhem" on match days.
Residents say they have been forced to park up to half a mile away from their homes during Twenty20 Cup matches, which draw capacity crowds.
The club says it is doing its best to be good neighbours but admits that without the power to impose residents parking, there is little that can be done to ease the problems.
Chief Executive of Leicestershire County Cricket Club Kevin Hill, said: "With respect I don't think anyone has a God-given right to park outside their houses.
Limited spaces
"But I respect the right that they would want to do so.
"We have sympathy and will cooperate with the local council in any way we can to ease the congestion on match days"
"Other than that, we cannot provide more parking within the ground, there is only space for 350 cars.
