Underused bus services are axed
Four bus services in Leicestershire are being stopped.

Arriva services, 2, between Leicester Syston and Melton Mowbray, 3 and 4 in Melton and service 57 between Leicester and Houghton will all end in August.

The operator blames a lack of demand and high running costs for the services no longer being viable.

Leicestershire County Council now says it is looking at ways to provide alternative services for passengers on some routes.

No buses will run on the routes affected after Sunday, 29 August.

Other Arriva services and journey times may also be affected.
