A 15m leisure complex in Lincolnshire has come a step closer after it was granted planning permission.
Councillors in East Lindsey have given initial approval to the sports, leisure and community centre in Louth.
It will include an eight-lane swimming pool, sports hall, fitness suite, dance studio and cafe area.
The council will now be working with contractors and architects to design the facility, which is due to be in operation by July 2008.
Councillor Adam Grist said: "It's another big hurdle cleared, it's tremendously exciting.
"This state-of-the art leisure development will transform sporting activities in East Lindsey forever."
