The body of a teenager who went missing on a school trip has been found in a river in Ecuador.
Aaron Goss, 17, of Rushden, Northamptonshire, disappeared in Tena on 26 July while swimming with other pupils from Wollaston School.
His body was discovered on Monday in the Rio Anzu river.
A Northamptonshire Police spokeswoman said: "Police and the Foreign and Commonwealth Office are now giving support to Aaron's family."
Adventureworks, the company which organised the trip, said the leader of the expedition and members of staff were remaining in Ecuador to help Aaron's family.
The other 17 students on the trip are flying back to Britain.
In a statement, Adventureworks said: "Our thoughts and prayers are with Aaron's family, friends and all at Wollaston School and we will do everything that we can to help them at this distressing time.
"Our own inquiry into the events surrounding this incident has already begun, but will not be completed until we have been able to debrief the expedition leader and the assistant leader, once they are back home.
