Public toilets worth �500,000 are to to be built in Nottingham city centre under re-development plan.
The current toilets in the Market Square are to close at the end of this month as part of the major refurbishment planned.
In the short term temporary facilities will be in place in front of The Council House.
Next May they will be replaced with toilets for both men and women in Greyhound Street.
The existing ladies only toilet there will be closed and the premises extended.
The council has also unveiled plans for new toilets to replace the Trinity Square facilities, which will close when the car park is demolished to make way for new development.
