Stampede death 'was accidental'

A verdict of accidental death has been recorded in the case of a woman trampled to death by cows while she was walking her dogs in Suffolk.

Sandra Pearce, 45, who worked as a probation officer in Lowestoft, died on farmland at country house South Elmham Hall, near Bungay, on 27 April.

The probation officer had been taking her two Jack Russell dogs for a walk in a field containing a bull and 14 cows.

The inquest was being held at Lowestoft County Court.
