Potential growth of towns on show
Nairn
The seaside town of Nairn is earmarked for more housing
A report has been produced about how the communities of Nairn and Culloden may grow over the next 30 years.

It is part of Highland Council's wider master plan on how the A96 corridor from the Raigmore Interchange at Inverness east to Auldearn may develop.

Public exhibitions will be held in Nairn and Culloden on 11, 13 and 14 September.

Copies of the report will also be available from post offices, halls and the council's website.

Nairn has been subject to a number of plans, including a proposal for new housing, retail park and golf course to help the town regain its former title as the Brighton of the North.

Exhibitions will be held at Culloden Library on 11 September, Inshes Church on 13 September and Nairn Community Centre on 14 September.

As well as the building of new homes and settlements in the corridor, it is proposed to make the A96 from Nairn to Inverness a dual carriageway.
