US engineering giants KBR has said it has not ruled out selling the former Nigg oil yard in Easter Ross. Earlier this week, Scottish Secretary Jim Murphy said the company was interested in reviving the site. Plans by KBR to sell have been held back by a dispute with owners of a strip of land it leases. In a statement, the Texas-based company said it may still sell off Nigg. It was formerly used in the construction of oil and gas platforms.
