Singles urged to catch 'love bus'

Arriva said it could also help with transport for any potential weddings

Romantics in Wrexham are being urged to hop on board a "love bus" to pop the question to their loved ones on Valentine's Day.

The destination board will carry the words "Will you marry me?" and Arriva Wales said it will personalise the message for anyone wishing to propose.

Inside, the bus will be equipped with chocolates, champagne, cherubs, hearts and harps.

Arriva said it would provide an "unforgettable" place for a proposal.

Nick Gordon, the company's marketing manager, said: "We're going to inject a bit of romance into Wrexham with our love bus.

"The actual place you ask someone to marry you is very important and in recent years people have striven to make the most unusual and memorable proposals.

"We want to hear from people in Wrexham who are planning to ask someone to marry them on 14 February and we will work with them to set up the special event, using our love bus as the mobile venue.

"And if we have any successful proposals we will, of course, be on hand to help with transport to the wedding."
