    Paris FC 0-2 Arsenal

A warning to Arsenal that the hosts still carry a threat.

Clara Mateo cleverly lays the ball to Evelyne Viens in space on the edge of the area, but the Canadian forward fires well over the bar.

She should at least have got that effort on target.

  3. Postpublished at 66 mins

    Paris FC 0-2 Arsenal

Arsenal have had 70% possession, 13 shots and nine corners so far.

No doubt they deserve to be winning this game, but really they won't be happy unless they get at least one more goal.

  4. YELLOW CARDpublished at 64 mins

    Paris FC 0-2 Arsenal

Georgia Stanway is sold down the river by Leah Williamson, who gives the ball away in midfield with a loose pass.

The more direct Paris FC are, the more effective they are, and they can cause issues for Arsenal.

That change by Renee Slegers is interesting and attack-minded - it indicates she wants her shot-shy side to rack up the goals here.

Olivia Smith is on the left wing, with Mariona Caldentey into the number 10 role.

Double change for Paris FC too.

Hilary Diaz and Maeline Mendy come on for Thea Greboval and Mariam Toloba.

  8. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 57 mins

    Paris FC 0-2 Arsenal

Lisa Baum seems to be clean through on goal after a fine pass by Georgia Stanway, but she mis-controls the ball and it allows a defender to make a covering tackle.

Renee Slegers then makes her first change, with Olivia Smith replacing Kim Little.

Alessia Russo and Georgia Stanway have both scored their first goals of the season tonight.

    Lucy Ward
    Former Leeds striker on Disney+

Georgia Stanway has been involved in the major parts of this second half and she knew that shot had to come quickly and it's a really good finish.

That second goal had to come quickly. Arsenal will look to build on this now.

Arsenal already look much more dangerous and creative going forward in this half.

Arsenal have started this season half with purpose.

OL Lyonnes v Chelsea (20.00 BST)

This match is the fifth between OL Lyonnes and Chelsea in the Women's Champions League - and the first not in the knock-out stages.

They have faced off in two-legged ties twice in the past. In 2018-19, Lyon beat Chelsea 3-2 on aggregate to deny the Blues a first Champions League final.

Then in 2022-23, they met in the quarter-finals. Chelsea won the first leg 1-0 in France, then progressed through the tie on penalties after Lyon triumphed 2-1 in the second match in London.

  18. Familiar facespublished at 18:40 BST

OL Lyonnes v Chelsea (20.00 BST)

Given these are two of the traditional big beasts of women's European football, it is no surprise several players have transferred between the two and tonight's game sees a meeting of familiar faces.

Chelsea's squad contains several former Women's Champions League winners with OL Lyonnes, in Lucy Bronze, Kadeisha Buchanan, Ellie Carpenter and Melvine Malard

The Blues' management team of Sonia Bompastor and Camille Abily also won national and continental titles in Lyon.

Meanwhile, Ashley Lawrence and the injured Johanna Rytting Kaneryd both moved to France from London last summer.

So Arsenal lead with just their fourth goal from six games in all competitions so far this season.

If it stays like this they will have two wins from two in the Champions League though, boosting their chances of a top four league phase finish and automatic progression to the quarter-finals.
