Arsenal boss Renee Slegers speaking to Disney+: "It's been tough for us, haven't got the results and the performances until now. The north London derby was really good for us, and we said we wanted to back it up. Really proud of the players because they did that today. We created a lot of chances, a lot of shots, and Alessia's hat-trick.
On how important Alessia Russo's first goal was: "Very important. The one chance they had was in the first half. We survived that moment, then Less scores a really good goal to go into half-time with a 1-0 lead."
More on Russo: "She is everything. It's hard to know where to start. She is such a humble, nice human being, really good, cares for everything and everyone, does everything to the fullest. She trains, does meetings, prepares, recovers. Everything is 100% and she brings so much quality. There is so much to say about Alessia and it's a privilege for me to work with her. To have a player that's world-class in the way she plays, the way she attacks, the way she defends does everything for the team and being this person, it's amazing. The whole team is amazing, we have so many good personalities in the group. we care for each other, and Alessia leads the way and she was captaining the team today."
On tonight's debutants: "Good, pleased with their performances."
On what was different tonight: "There was another way of creating today, our discipline in the press and getting the opportunities going forward. That was a big one for us."

Arsenal's hat-trick hero Alessia Russo, speaking to Uefa: "It feels really nice. I love playing in the Champions League and I love scoring goals. it was really good to get the win. To score a hat-trick is rally special.
"We knew they were going to be tough. We were patient. It was a good night, lots of attacking football and really nice to get the win.
We've had a tough time but on Saturday and then tonight it was about carrying on that form, building mor momentum. It's a long season, we've started not as we wanted to but it can be really exciting what this team has still got to offer.
We've got such a good squad. Anyone can step up and perform when they're needed. The squad is massive, we're in a good place and we are enjoying our football."
On how it felt to wear the captain's armband: "It was really nice, an honour to captain this club."

Arsenal's Caitlin Foord, speaking to Uefa: "We know every game how important it is especially in this comptition. We are happy to be back here. We wanted to back up our win in the league and we are happy to get the win."
On Alessia Russo's hat-trick: "It's incredible for Less, so happy for her. she's been pushing and pushing to get goals and to get three tonight I'm not surprised. I see her do it every day in training. We've got a nice connection and I love plying with her and feeding her the ball. I'm really happy for her."
On Benfica: "The keeper made some great saves. We knew they were going to be a tough side. We knew we had to stick into it and win every battle. We hoped that we could grind them down and get some goals and we did that in the end, so job done."

Alessia Russo speaking to Disney+ about Arsenal building momentum after winning back-to-back games for the first time this season: "We said that the north London derby wouldn't have meant anything if we didn't go and back it up tonight so it was really important, back at Boreham Wood, use that as momentum and now hopefully we can build going forward.
"You could see how many shots on target we had and that's something we've been really building, really focusing on. People feeling confident to step up and shoot from outside the box and their keeper made some great saves and maybe on another night it would have been even more. It was a really good performance."

Alessia Russo, who scored a hat-trick, speaking to Disney+ about the win and becoming the all-time leading English goal scorer in Women's Champions League history: "It feels really nice, obviously I love playing in the Champions League especially with Arsenal, what we're building. It feels really nice. I think the win was really important after building some momentum against Spurs and you can hear how loud it is at Boreham Wood, it's always nice to play here and it was a really big three points.
"You could hear a pin drop [during the penalty] they were on my side, that's why! They obviously know that we try and get in our zone for a penalty and then once we scored it was nice to celebrate with them."

We spoke about Alessia Russo at half-time, her movement and how she was having to sit deeper in that CDM role which I didn't particularly like but congratulations to her breaking the record. What an amazing achievement.

On whether Arsenal have turned a corner...
It was a positive performance, they have kept the clean sheet, they've got three big important goals and I think it'll be a huge confidence boost.
Hopefully for them, they'll be thinking it is time for them to turn the corner now.

I think most players there would have opened up and had the strike instead but Little felt that Foord was in a better position.

Got to stick with Russo as the 9 now, that's where she's at her best. She's an OK 10, but you play players at their best positions, and Slegers hasn't been doing that nearly enough.
