Born in Trinidad and Tobago, Rishi was a promising jockey before deciding to pursue a career behind the microphone.

Rishi joined BBC Sport in 2003 after two years working as a reporter for Attheraces.

In addition to racing, Rishi has worked at Wimbledon and the Olympics.

He will be working on the BBC's coverage of the cricket World Cup.
