Swine flu outbreak closes school

A high school in Suffolk will be shut for seven days because of fears of an outbreak of swine flu.

One teacher at St Alban's Roman Catholic High School in Ipswich has been confirmed as having the illness, and another teacher is being tested.

Six students are also being tested for the virus.

Headteacher Dennis McGarry said that there had been a "considerable amount of anxiety" from both staff and pupils at the school.

He said schoolwork for pupils would be available to be downloaded from the school's website.
