Teachers from across the East of England were honoured for their work at an awards ceremony on Wednesday.
The Teaching Awards Trust's regional awards 2005 were presented at the Norwich Assembly House in Norfolk.
Trust chief executive David Hanson said winners were ordinary people doing an extraordinary job.
"We believe there is no greater responsibility than teaching the next generation and these people deserve recognition," he said.
The region's ceremony, hosted by BBC Look East's Carol Bundock, is one of 13 events taking place across England, Wales and Northern Ireland through June and July.
All winners of regional awards will be invited to the national ceremony in London on 16 October.
