There are more than 60 confirmed swine flu cases in Coventry following a "rapid increase" in figures in the last few days, the NHS said. In a bid to conserve stocks of the antiviral drug, Tamiflu, it is being prescribed only to those whose GP has confirmed they have got swine flu. The virus was generally a mild illness lasting a few days, NHS Coventry said. It added the virus was spreading fast, but said there had been very few people admitted to hospital. There are now 2,308 confirmed cases of the virus in the West Midlands region after a further 204 were diagnosed on Tuesday.
