The latest plans for a new town just outside Plymouth go on display to the public on Friday.
Sherford Valley is earmarked for a development of new homes, as well as community facilities such as schools.
An exhibition of the plans for up to 4,000 homes in four neighbourhoods will be held at Staddiscombe Community Centre during the day.
It will move to Plymstock School and be followed by a discussion chaired by area MP Gary Streeter in the evening.
The Sherford new town plans currently envisage a community just south of the A38 at Deep Lane, but extending south to the outskirts of Elburton.
There would be a centre to the settlement with shops and other facilities, along with three primary schools and a secondary school.
