Sir Terry's books have been translated into 32 languages

Fantasy author Sir Terry Pratchett has received an honorary doctorate from Winchester University. The Discworld creator, who lives in Salisbury, Wiltshire, accepted the award for his services to literature at a ceremony at Winchester Cathedral. The doctorate was presented at the last of three graduation ceremonies for 1,200 Winchester students. Comedian Jack Dee and broadcaster Sir David Frost have already been presented with honorary degrees this week. Sir Terry has sold more than 60 million books worldwide and his light-hearted fantasy novels have been translated into 32 languages.
