The curtain is being raised at a theatre in Lancashire for the first time in almost 30 years.
Morecambe's historic Victoria Pavilion, also known as the Winter Gardens, is to host its first performance since its closure in 1977.
The Friends of the Morecombe Winter Gardens bought the Grade II-listed building a few months ago after 20 years of fundraising.
A play called Oleanna, with a cast of two, is being performed at the theatre.
The building was opened in 1897 and has seen performances by stars in including Morecambe and Wise.
Eric Morecambe's son Gary has been among the theatre's supporters.
The Friends of the Winter Gardens were formed in 1986 by a group of local residents to save the building from demolition.
