Thousands marched through the city centre

More than 80 voluntary groups in Leicester have failed to win a reprieve from the city council's planned cuts.
Many had hoped significant changes would be made to the proposed budget at a Cabinet meeting on Monday night.
But councillors have only found the money to save an additional 17 groups.
Voluntary Action Leicester said it knows of 30 organisations which could be forced to close if the proposals are introduced at a full council meeting to be held on Wednesday.
Government grant
The ruling Liberal Democrat-Conservative alliance has said it has a budget shortfall of 10m.
Thousands of people have joined protests over the past few weeks, following the announcement that 99 groups could see reductions in funding as part of plans to save 2m of the deficit.
One of the groups still threatened with closure is the Turning Point Women's Centre in Braunstone.
Diane Smalley's disabled son attends a play session at the centre. She said: "I've got a little boy who comes on a Wednesday morning and he's got quite a few disabilities and they're working on him one to one.
"I feel if he goes into another place then will he get the attention he needs?
"So, we really rely on this to help him with his development."
The cabinet's leader on finance, Lib Dem Councillor, Peter Coley, blamed a below average government grant.
