Ms Lawrence's father Peter said he hoped the posters would trigger people's memories
The father of missing York chef Claudia Lawrence has unveiled a new poster campaign to help find his daughter.
The posters will appear on Yorkshire Coastliner buses which provide services from Leeds to North and East Yorkshire.
The bus group was one of the first to put up appeal posters when Ms Lawrence went missing but over time they have faded and become tatty.
It is eight months since the 35-year-old disappeared. The case is being treated as suspected murder.
Biggest search
Ms Lawrence was last seen leaving the University of York's Goodricke College, where she worked, on 18 March.
Numerous appeals and searches have failed to located her.
Martin Dales, spokesman for Ms Lawrence's father Peter, said: "The new posters should prove more resilient and hopefully will not fade quite as quickly."
On Tuesday, North Yorkshire Police said the number of officers assigned to investigating her disappearance would stay the same.
The investigation into Miss Lawrence's disappearance is now the biggest the North Yorkshire force has conducted since the search for multiple killer Mark Hobson five years ago.
