Life-saving trio to receive award
Testimonial on parchment
Mr Daniels and Mr Parker will receive a testimonial on parchment
Three Shropshire men who rescued a group of teenagers when their dinghy was blown out to sea on the Welsh coast are to receive life-saving awards.

David Gradwell, 42, from Shrewsbury, suffered cuts and bruises as he swam to get two of the girls to safety.

George Daniels, 53, from Shawbury, and Timothy Parker, 35, from Wem, helped save a third girl in August 2002.

The Royal Humane Society is honouring the men with their testimonials on vellum and parchment.

Mr Gradwell is get the society's testimonial on vellum which is given to someone who has put themselves in considerable danger to rescue someone else.

George Daniels and Timothy Parker will be awarded the testimonial on parchment.

This is given to people who have risked saving someone else in a short period of time.
