A Polish Christmas market is to make its debut in Edinburgh with authentic food, drink and music.
Polish Christmas carols and a Polish Highlanders folk band will also be part of the entertainment at the one-day event on Thursday from 1400 GMT.
The free event, until 2000 GMT, is run by Edinburgh City Centre Management, Edinburgh Winter Festivals and the Scottish Polish Cultural Association.
It is funded by Scottish Enterprise Edinburgh and Lothian.

Ian Broadfoot, Edinburgh City Centre Management city centre manager, said: "I feel sure Edinburgh's first Polish Christmas market will prove to be a credit to the partnership of organisations that have brought it together from its beginnings around two months ago."
Stephen Gallagher, director of global connections at Scottish Enterprise Edinburgh and Lothian, said: "The Polish market will help to enhance Castle Street's reputation as a high quality city centre location which can host a range of events and outdoor activity to attract both residents and visitors to the area.
"This is exactly the kind of event we envisaged for the recently redeveloped Castle Street, animating the city centre and providing activity to complement the Capital's Winter Festivals."
