Bristol Rovers have won four successive games, scoring 10 goals
Steve Evans came out on top as his Bristol Rovers side won against his former club Rotherham United in League Two.
The outstanding Tommy Leigh made the difference in the 32nd minute as Rovers scored via the first shot on target in the game.
Leigh deftly flicked the ball over the top of the Millers defence to play in Pirates winger Bobby Kamwa down the left. He cut into the box only to shoot tamely at Ted Cann's near post, but the ball rebounded off the goalkeeper nicely for Leigh to slot home just inside the box.
Rotherham midfielder Brandon Cover shot straight at keeper Brad Young in the 39th minute and Shaq Forde threatened from outside the area shortly before the break, set up again after more good work from Leigh, his last action before being substituted at the break for Ellis Harrison.
Cann then pushed Kofi Balmer's close-range shot onto the crossbar before Fabio Tavares headed substitute Aaron Nemane's cross straight at Young nine minutes later, going even closer by hitting the bar from close range in the final seconds.
Rovers held on for a third home win in the league this season, as Alex Bruce and Rovers assistant manager Paul Raynor were sent off following an off-pitch melee in stoppage time.
