Rob's first job was with west-country TV in Plymouth in 1998.

In 1999 he moved to moved to HTV West as Rugby correspondent, covering Bath, Bristol and Gloucester and the Lions tour.

He joined the BBC in 2002, working on Rugby Special, Grandstand and Five Live.

Rob is a keen dancer and marathon runner.
