There are new hopes for a negotiated settlement

Authorities in Jersey say they are ready to negotiate with Guernsey over fishing licenses.
Guernsey confirmed on Wednesday it was appealing against the Royal Court's decision to stop its licensing scheme.
Jersey fishermen were unhappy when the scheme was introduced, as many of them were not granted a permit to fish in Guernsey waters.
But Deputy Gerald Voisin, who is in charge of fishing matters in Jersey, says he believes the appeal will fail.
He added he was hopeful a negotiated settlement could be reached.
