The scheme is designed to revitalise Boscombe seafront

Plans for a multi-million pound Dorset seafront revamp go on display during the bank holiday weekend.
Planners were forced to reshape their design plans for Boscombe seafront after a government decision gave its pier entrance listed status in 2004.
The focus of the front's development has now shifted from the pier to the Overstrand Complex.
The revised scheme will be on display at the Boscombe Pier Approach in Bournemouth between Friday and Sunday.
Bournemouth Borough Council is inviting residents to come down and give their views on the plans.
Pier shortened
If approved, the redevelopment would see the removal of amusements and the land-train garage to make way for a new restaurant.
The plans also include an artificial surf reef, to be built 200m off shore to the east of the Pier.
A rooftop terrace, surf shop, teaching centre and changing rooms could also be included.
Meanwhile, the listed pier entrance building - dating from 1958 to 1960 - would be restored and the pier itself would be shortened for safety reasons.
