The Liberal Democrats have taken control from the Conservatives in Hinckley and Bosworth in Leicestershire following Thursday's elections.
The party gained 10 seats, bringing the Lib Dems' total to 19. The Conservatives lost five seats, meaning their total now stands at 13.
The Labour Party lost four of its six seats and the Independents lost their only seat.
Votes had to be recounted after an initial close result.
