Tories make gains in Bridgnorth

Bridgnorth District Council has remained in no overall control, although the Conservatives have gained three seats in the local elections.

It means the Tories now have 13 seats, making them the biggest party on the authority.

The Liberal Democrats lost five seats while Labour lost one, leaving them with three seats and one seat on the council respectively.

Elizabeth Yeomans, the leader of the Independent Group, held her seat.
