Suzuki's Tom O'Kane: Steering dampers are crucial pieces of kit in MotoGP bikes. Without them a rider's arms would become fatigued very quickly. Racing bikes are designed to be manoeuverable - but the downside is that they are also unstable. Dampers correct that.
