Suzuki's Tom O'Kane: These brakes are made from steel. The small holes help clean the brakes. Riding styles vary - some guys don't use the rear brakes at all, others do to keep the back of the bike down. There's no ABS - it's all down to the rider. You'd probably change the disc after 1000km.
