Ice rinks

Permission has been granted for two Olympic-sized ice rinks as part of a multi-million development at Black Rock on the Brighton seafront.

The 8,000-seater Brighton International Arena, is due to open in 2007.

The two-acre site, which housed a swimming pool up until 1978, will also have flats and shops.
