Airport baggage systems hit by power outage
Getty ImagesEast Midlands Airport has said a number of its systems have been affected by a power cut.
The airport in Castle Donington, Leicestershire, said its baggage service was out of action after a "brief" power cut on Monday.
In a statement at about 12:15 BST the airport said engineers had fixed the issue and the airport is "returning to normal operations".
Passengers have been advised to go to the airport as usual, with a spokesperson advising any who become "separated from their luggage" to stay in contact with their airline who will reunite them at their destination.
In a statement, the airport apologised for the inconvenience caused to passengers during the morning.
It said the issue was only affecting the baggage system used for departures.
