Man charged with arson after hotel fire near Heathrow
GoogleA man has been charged with arson with intent to endanger life after a fire at a hotel near Heathrow Airport, police have said.
The fire broke out at Stanwell Hotel in Staines, which is used to house asylum seekers, at about 09:40 BST on Saturday.
Jake Holder, 28, from Ashford, has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Guildford Crown Court on Tuesday, said Surrey Police.
Officers said they were not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident.
