Liquid Spice 'worth more than £1m' found in cellar

Liquid Spice with an estimated street value of £1m has been found by police investigating the use of the illegal drug in Bradford.

Officers discovered 35 litres of the synthetic cannabinoid in the basement of an address in Haworth, West Yorkshire, on Tuesday.

They also seized around £10,000 in cash from an address in central Bradford, with mobile phones seized from both properties.

Haaris Hussain, 35, of Dean Street, Haworth, and Awais Mustapha, 28, of Woodlands Street, Bradford, have been charged with offences including being concerned in the supply of a Class B drug.

Both men are also charged with requiring a person to perform forced or compulsory labour under the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and are due to appear at Bradford Magistrates' Court.
