A teenage boy has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after being knocked from his bike in a collision with a car.

The 15-year-old boy collided with the car on Cole Avenue in Gloucester, close to the junction with Tuffley Lane, at approximately 18:20 GMT on 26 October 2026.

The boy, who was heading towards Podsmead, was taken to hospital by emergency services who attended the scene shortly after.

Police said the driver of the car was uninjured and road closures were put in place to allow for a collision investigation, but were lifted in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
