Teenagers charged with murder of e-bike rider

A man and a teenage boy have been charged with the murder of an e-bike rider who died in a crash in west London.

Kariem Abdelhalim, 24, was found seriously injured on North Pole Road, North Kensington, at about 01:20 BST on Friday 25 September, the Metropolitan Police said. He was pronounced dead a short time later.

Charles Egonye, 19, of Wulfstan Street, East Acton, and a 17-year-old boy from the Southall area, who cannot be named for legal reasons, were arrested on suspicion of murder on Monday.

They are due to appear at Highbury Corner Magistrates' Court later on Wednesday.
