A man who has raised more than £470,000 for charity has announced plans to walk 150 miles to mark the 150th anniversary of his favourite football club

Manny Singh Kang said Manny's Molineux 150 pays homage to Wolverhampton Wanderers, which was founded in 1877.

The avid Wolves supporter has invited members of the public to join him on the challenge at the Molineux Stadium on Waterloo Road, where he will be walking around the grounds for 60 hours to cover 150 miles.

The feat is set to take place from 11 to 13 March next year, with all proceeds being going to Dementia UK.

Announcing the fundraiser on his social platforms, he said: "Some of you ask, 'Is this good for your health? Are you going to be okay?' What about the health of the one million people that live with [dementia]?

"If I have to sacrifice a little bit of me to help them, then that sacrifice is worth paying, that comes from my faith."

His last challenge saw him walk over three days from the club to London without sleep before taking part in the London Marathon.

His fundraising for Dementia UK began eight years ago after he started researching the condition.

He said the number of people living with dementia, alongside the impact on their families, made him want to do something to help.

The Network Rail worker, who was awarded an MBE for his work in rail safety and charity, has taken on many challenges, including cycling 24 hours on an exercise bike and running 50 miles with 50 schools over two days.
