Northamptonshire Police said it took action following residents' concerns in Queensway Ward, Wellingborough

An abandoned home has been boarded up and secured after local residents complained about anti-social behaviour.

Northamptonshire Police said its neighbourhood team in Wellingborough worked with other organisations to "address concerns" about the property on Burns Road in the town's Queensway Ward area.

The force thanked members of the community for reporting the issue and providing information.

It said the house had been secured to "prevent further unauthorised access and reduce the opportunity for anti-social behaviour".

A spokesperson added: "Your reports help us identify issues affecting local neighbourhoods and enable us to work with our partners to find effective solutions."
