Man charged after pedestrian killed in road collision

Police have charged a 34-year-old man with death by careless driving after a pedestrian was killed on Friday.

A woman in her sixties died following the road traffic collision in Aghagallon, County Antrim.

Emergency services attended but the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

The man is due to appear before Lisburn Magistrates' Court on Monday.
