Heighington

A man aged in his 30s has died after a two-vehicle crash near Heighington in County Durham.

The platform looks like it is original to the building which dates to 1827, a charity says.

Police say the bike, ridden by a man in his 70s, left the road.

The incinerator, which attracted 2,000 objections, is already build but needs a permit to operate.

They include a major event heading to Middlesbrough and funding to save a noteable railway building.

The Environment Agency says it is looking for a new way to explain the permit process.
